![]() By adding something universally desired for players to dump gold into, we can circulate gold out of the economy and stop inflation to a degree. I've seen players try to charge 20 ingots for a single lantern, and the problem will only worsen as more gold is mined. Currently, gold coins and ingots are supposed to be a currency we use to trade items, but there isn't exactly a standard for it. The second problem this resolves is the problem of gold inflation. On PC, the number of active light sources has been reduced. This update has changed some aspects of how the game runs. Therefore, we had to migrate A Township Tale to a newer version, Unity 2020. As a person who enjoys making weird and fun weapons, it's kind of annoying to not have a place to store them, so I have to keep them in my backpack and waste slots I'd want during mining trips. The current version of the game engine, Unity 2018, is no longer supported. With Red Iron, Silver, Gold, and both types of crystals, it leaves me with only one slot to store anything in. The 6 slots in my personal storage are taken up by my reserve of ingots. The first of these is a lack of player storage, of course. This solution seems decently easy to implement and solves a few of the current problems the game has. I was talking to others about potential solutions for the shortage of personal storage until the player housing update comes (which wont be for a while).
